Dear Ryan (and Crew),
It has truly been our pleasure to work with Gormley Construction on the renovation of our basement. Over the past few months you have worked with us as a partner in this project and treated our home with the best of care. We looked forward to peaking in on the progress every day and watching the transformation of a divided, outdated, and dingy basement into a beautifully crafted and inviting family room. We greatly appreciate your time, effort, energy, and the talent of your team and subcontractors. We could have never imagined our space as amazing as you all have made it.
This has been our fifth experience with renovations on a home that we owned. Most of the construction in the past (3 bathrooms, a basement, and 2 family rooms) were done by Mike’s friends “in the industry”. I can say with absolute confidence this has been the best experience we have ever had and this will not be the last project that we take on with Gormley Construction.
Some of the most important aspects of a renovation are the little things that make huge differences. In our case it was the permit delays from the township, last minute changes to the project (like doors, floors, stairs, and design requests), weather, and scheduling subcontractors. With all of these items you took the stress off us and were agreeable, responsive, and friendly regarding each of the aspects. Even through the delays that were caused by outside influences (us, township, our requested subcontractors) which I’m sure had an effect on your other jobs, your progress and positive attitude remained.
Your crew was friendly, polite, and TALENTED!!! Everyone greeted us with smiles, kind words, and consideration of being in our home. The space was neatly organized and swept every day. The key was always placed in the lock box you provided and our doors always locked to ensure the safety of our family and home. The craftsmanship of the project is so exceptional that the end product exceeded our expectations but not the original budget. Not to say that change orders weren’t made but the pricing was all reasonable and provided in advance of the work so we could agree or decline.
Please know that you all hold a place in our hearts for creating a place in our home that we will enjoy for the rest of our lives. I know we will all miss your smiling faces and especially for the kids your trucks at the property. It seemed to be the highlight for Mason and Riley to say “The guys are here!! They are making our play room”.
We are happy to be references in the future if you need one, but I am assume it’s mostly your reputation of excellence that has generated your success and advertising. People like us can’t wait to tell others about experience and end result. Gormley Construction is truly one in a million and the partnership that every homeowner is looking for but has trouble finding.
